Here's a taste of what I want to teach and study with my child and any future babies of mine! It may be a lot, but this is over a lifetime of studying @ home. You know, 18 years or so! It's also not etched in stone...I'm completely flexible (on some things!). Now provided that all the basics are covered, I definitely want any kids of mine to learn the following...
Oh yeah, anything in blue will be taught completely outside of the home if provided by someone else. If purple, it will be be taught at-home partially by me.

French oui oui is about all I know as of yet, but I plan to at least take a beginner class while in college

Good luck.
Wow you are getting organized. I have no laid out plans yet and hope to officially start with kindergarten next year after my son turns 5.
I might need some lessons from you.:)
Thanks! I'm always bubbling with tons of ideas, especially when it's geared to children. I'm not sure how I'll excute everything, but so far I've been keeping all of my college material from history, composition, etc. They tend to be a little more accurate. My daughter is only 2, so I have a while before I'll get chance to teach most of that stuff. Let me know how it goes when you start!
Whew! You have big plans! Our older kids (all teens) are in public school. A decision we made when we didn't know any better but we've decided that this late in the game it might be best if they stayed put.
We HAVE been blessed with two more little gifts since '06 and homeschool is the plan for them. I've thought a lot about what and how we'll go about doing it, but you have really thought this thing out long term. I'm inspired. Good for you!
Thanks Terry! I guess I have thought about it a while! I have so much stored in my head, I never realize how deep my thoughts go. I am really thankful for this blog, because it allows me to records them all, even if they're abstract and unorganized. Please let me know how it goes as you begin to homeschool you youngings!
